Adam Dobay is a multiplatform writer, researcher and speaker specializing in film storytelling and story patterns. He’s held over 400 lectures since 2010 from Japanese anime to Hollywood’s pop mythology. His two-semester course, Therapy and Enlightenment in Anime ran for two years at the Dharma Gate Buddhist College.
Adam majored in Film Theory and Anglo-American Culture at the University of Budapest, and spent ten years studying comparative mythology. To complement his studies with field experience on the human psyche, he’s delved into areas from classical yoga to Rinzai Zen, and assisted the work of therapists including Dr. Frank Cardelle, PhD.
