Laura Fuentes — CEO, Momables
I was struggling to separate all my ideas into a series of emails for my sales sequence. I knew what I wanted to say, and I realized that I was creating emails with a lot of content, but I needed help breaking it into digestable parts. I realized I needed Adam when I sent out a first test and it did not perform as anticipated. From the blog and the stuff he worked on I knew that he’s a good writer and that he’s been in the blog game for many years — and very successfully at that.
I would have initially wished for someone to write the series of emails instead of me, but I realized that that was wishful thinking. Only I could do that. However, working closely together with Adam like we did, there was a lot of detailed guidance in the process and I really liked that. I especially liked how he was able to put himself in my reader’s shoes rather quickly and could read my e-mails from their perspective.
Adam’s help resulted in a series of emails that built up my sales funnels. The initial launch alone generated $8,000 – not bad from a single series of email blasts! I would recommend working with Adam – he will guide you in your journey to create copy that sells, converts, and is relevant to your readers.

Having had Adam work together with me on multiple TEDx talks and sales pages for my online courses, by now if I reach out to him with a new project we can just hit the ground running immediately. That’s what’s great about when you’re working with someone in the long-term.
Adam goes beyond the copywriting to dig in to figure out what your strategy is, what your business purpose is and who you’re trying to reach and connect with. You’re not just sending him away with your ideas and your words and then they’re waiting for some troll to come out of a cave with a magic pot of gold, but you’re part of the process with him.
I know how to put together a presentation. I know how to sound amazing on stage. I know how to be in that moment. But getting clarity on the words and the direction, and creating something that’s so clear and succinct that it fits into a certain format and conveys a message is when I need guidance. I think it’s a question of does the doctor heal himself, or does the postman deliver his own mail? It’s when even if you are the person who goes and does this for other people, even if you are a business coach or feel like you’re a guru in your field, you still need someone else. Every coach needs a coach, every writer needs a writer. Every business person need someone to be in that element. And for me, that’s Adam.

When I kicked off my online course three years ago, it did amazing because it was my own personal circle and I got a lot of word of mouth. But as my initial pool of customers began to dry up, it got progressively harder to hook people interested in the product. I always thought that I had decent copy – it might have been a little verbose or lengthy at times, but I was already doing the kind of advice the experts were giving. So my copy wasn’t crap to begin with, it was halfway decent, but it did need fine-tuning and polishing.
This was the very first time I’ve ever hired anyone to work on copy assistance, so it was like not really knowing what I’m getting into orwhat to expect. But then I handed Adam my draft and he transformed it and weaved it and talked it through, turning it into words that were more clear, more designed to create a call to action, and to create results. So I think that everything that I expected, I got – and more. Adam went above and beyond timewise and scope-wise. It was extremely beneficial for me — I went into it thinking “Okay, Adam is just going to do this and I’ll be on my way“, but it ended up being a lot more, which was great, because it turned out I really needed it.
So if someone says to me now, “Hey I need a copywriter” — Adam’s your man, he’s awesome. I know some people are scared of giving copy to someone to write. But with this co-writing process, it very much still had my voice, it was just polished. It was perfected. It was better. But it never lost me.

I appreciate how you turned my sales page’s overly verbose explanation into a fluid narrative that prospective clients can connect with. I love that new clients frequently compliment my website now — not just the design but how the information is presented. Thanks, Adam, for your awesome writing.
